Share your thoughts about Web 2.0, things you've tried, and projects you'd like to start.

Hey Jill and Susan...thanks for creating a Wiki for people to play with!

You did a great job and what a GREAT time it is to be a librarian, with so many cool tools available.

From the earliest days of "Web 2.0" speak, I have been struck by the fact that RSS has been included in the panoply.  It is definitely a part of the Web 2.0 world in most people's minds, but interestingly enough, it does not really seem to conform to the criteria for Web 2.0. 

It doesn't allow for bi-directional communication, and it doesn't by definition allow end users to enrich the content.  Though it can be helpful in finding out who or what is talking about who or what...which can then give us a chance to comment on or enrich the content...

Y'all did such a wonderful job.  The information was not exactly new to me; although I certainly did learn

a lot.  But more than anything it helped me feel confident about how to implement these tools into our

library.  I am very excited about blogging (as a form of internal communication) and am so thankful y'all

spent time discussing it!
